The course is very detailed and thorough. Its beginner friendly but can also be useful to intermediate/advanced photoshop users. The resources, advice and tips and tricks provided by the instructor will leave those enrolled in the course feeling more confident and inspired to unleash their own creativity. This course was better than I expected, I'd definitely recommend it to anyone interested in ArchViz (with Photoshop, SketchUp, Vray)!
I have been watching Oliver's tutorials since OU Graphics and it has always helped me, so for this reason I decided to try out the isometric masterclass and photoshop courses and without any doubt, it lived up to my expectations. It's packed with a lot of useful information and techniques. And I've been applying them to my drawing for a while now and I'm extremely happy with the workflow I've learnt from Upstairs.

If you were like me, a person who knew nothing about the importance/power of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, this course will teach you so much. The level of depth and experience of Oliver and the team at Upstairs, is absolutely amazing. Not only do they teach about how to manage computer software, but they also instruct about the profession of architecture, the reason we are even here, to begin with. The amount of work, patience, and drive is self-evident in their work, and I as a student, appreciate it so much. Very well-rounded course that was very easy to understand and follow along with. My only suggestion would be to potentially create tutorials with other free softwares, like TwinMotion or other software that students get free access to and can properly utilize, as shown in your tutorials. Still appreciate the content and look forward to learning in future courses!
You are never quite sure what to expect with these courses, as the quality varies wildly. I could not be happier with this one. Oliver does such a great job clearly explaining the tools and techniques so they are easy to understand. If for some reason, you don't understand, he is quick to respond to all comments. He has set the bar high for online courses and is clearly extremely talented and knowledgeable. I was able to drastically improve my rendering skills and had zero experience with D5. My clients are thrilled with the results. This is THE D5 course and a great value for the money. THANK YOU, OLIVER! Keep up the good work.

Wonderful beginner tips and tricks to start developing a personal style in archviz. While technology has advanced and 3D assets have gotten better, everything in this lesson is a true base to work from. If you're a beginner in Photoshop or V-Ray, this is a phenomenal first step.
The post-production course taught me so many skills and tricks in Photoshop and has allowed me to develop an efficient workflow when it comes to post-production. The course also comes with additional resources that you can use for your own projects. If you're an architecture student, I can't recommend this course enough!

As a student, I have to say that the course is a bit too expensive. I didn't mean the content is not worthy, cause it sure does. However, I think if the price could be lower or there were some discounts from time to time, it would be great. Appreciate the work.
Really good course. It goes in depth on a lot of important topics.
This material is exact and concise with content that is meaningful. The insights and explanations are outstanding. The level of detail is just right without distractions or unnecessary tangents. In addition, there are no plugs for buying the assets but those too are excellent and well worth the modest cost. I would definitely encourage a link to the store in the various lessons as those assets are amazing and add to the sophistication of the final projects. Thank you for the fantastic learning opportunity.
Oliver did an amazing job walking us through his process with creating diagrams. He was clear and reinforced important details throughout the course, making sure to help build good habits. His emphasis on "big moves" really helped to think about the diagram creation process as a bite sized problem. I would recommend people invest in this course because if you are a student learning how to represent your ideas, the skills available in this course will help you.

The course covers the basics of InDesign in a way that is easy to understand. I also found it very helpful to see other examples of portfolios and see how the tips given during the lessons could be applied to my own portfolio. Overall, great course!
Wasn’t expecting to get this much value, tbh. Thought I knew a lot already, but this course goes deep into things and dissects D5 in all areas. I liked that the Upstairs team divided the modules very clearly so I focused on the parts that I needed the most first. Super recommended for anyone looking to enhance their visualization skills!
I learned tips for rendering in vray and how to organize layers, add backgrounds, vegetation, textures, cutouts, light and so much more in Photoshop to make amazing compositions for our architecture projects.
The course is really easy to follow. It will make you able to communicate ideas very easily. It's a must-do. A great weapon to have in your arsenal. I loved it.
I never used Notion before and was kind of scared of it lol. But the onboarding walks you through everything. Very simple now that I got this basic knowledge. 10/10
I loved the course, and the Upstairs channel as a whole. It gives me the inspiration to work more with architecture illustration, which I've been falling in love with ever since studying it more. The workflow is not hard, but it might be easier to understand if you already have a basic knowledge of architectural plans as a whole.
What I appreciated about the course instructor was that he was generous enough to provide an additional module that delved into portfolios, besides the course being about the InDesign software. Moreover, it was very practical in terms of providing actual examples of selected portfolios online.
It's a course that will give you a setup to elevate your floor plans to a new height.

It was a nicely structured course to teach you a lot of things about post-production in Photoshop. Maybe some more experienced artists will find it easy, but it was a great course for users new to the Photoshop side of things, well explained all the way.

I have followed many InDesign courses but this one is the most complete on the market. The information provided and the method of communication is clear and direct. The examples shown are of great help in understanding how to approach the design of an architectural portfolio. The presence of subtitles in different languages is very useful to fully understand each concept. This course should be compulsory in every architecture school to have a clear idea of how to effectively show each project.

I really liked this course, he teaches you many tricks to create a good portfolio, but what I liked the most was the fact that he explains everything with examples of real portfolios. Another plus point was that English is not my first language, and yet I had no problem understanding everything and helping myself with subtitles. I also had a small problem that I couldn't open a file and he solved everything very quickly. Totally recommended!

Amazing course, taught me many new stuff although I have been using Photoshop for a while.
Really useful course for all levels. I used D5 Render for 1 year in Architecture School before enrolling in this course, which meant I had a pretty good understanding of the software. But this course helped me integrate all the knowledge I had and structure it into a correct and efficient workflow. I finished the course before entering a local firm, and it helped me a lot since I was the only person in charge of 3D images. The short and concise lessons are really useful for students and professionals who use their spare time to learn. Would (and effectively did) recommend it to peers.
The Urban Drawing Bundle is incredible for any type of Isometric drawing, it's all you need in terms of assets to populate a scene without loosing too much time. I prefer to use it directly from Illustrator so I have more control over the asset's final look. Highly recommend it!

Even though I have worked with Indesign for quite some time before, I learned some new practical tips and tricks from this course. Knowing how to work with character styles was especially helpful for me. I also really enjoyed module 6 and the conceptual insights an portfolio reviews that Oliver provided there. Very in-depth course that will improve all of your plans. Teaches the basics like patterns, shadows, fills & Ai + Ps skills, all the way through to tiny details. All of which help your plans emphisise the architecture in a clear, readable way.
It's an excellent course, it gives you the tools to make very good diagrams, and also the workflow and ethic allow you to make further diagrams in the future as you like, not just the ones that are in the course.
