It's an excellent course, it gives you the tools to make very good diagrams, and also the workflow and ethic allow you to make further diagrams in the future as you like, not just the ones that are in the course.

I LOVED IT!!! Straight from Nigeria. I learnt a lot and it was well paced. I know in total it says it's 2 hours. it took me 5 days to complete due to work and a spice of laziness but nonetheless, eventually I was victorious. Off to practice what I have learnt but if you are looking for a sign on whether to take this course or not, I HOPE THIS ALL CAPS WRITING IS A SIGN BOLD ENOUGH FOR YOU!!!

The course is really easy to follow. It will make you able to communicate ideas very easily. It's a must-do. A great weapon to have in your arsenal. I loved it.
Honestly, the course is packed! Maybe even a little too long for me at first haha. But I get it, there's a lot to learn in D5 and Post-production Photoshop! I appreciate that I can take it bit by bit though, which very helpful for someone with a busy schedule. The structure is nice, it doesn’t throw everything at you all at once, so I can always come back and pick up where I left off. That makes it way less overwhelming in the end. I'm really glad I signed up for this course!

I really liked this course, he teaches you many tricks to create a good portfolio, but what I liked the most was the fact that he explains everything with examples of real portfolios. Another plus point was that English is not my first language, and yet I had no problem understanding everything and helping myself with subtitles. I also had a small problem that I couldn't open a file and he solved everything very quickly. Totally recommended!
Wonderful beginner tips and tricks to start developing a personal style in archviz. While technology has advanced and 3D assets have gotten better, everything in this lesson is a true base to work from. If you're a beginner in Photoshop or V-Ray, this is a phenomenal first step.
Cool classes. Pretty useful shortcuts and tricks that save a lot of time. Great bonus material, like plants, textures, cutouts of people, etc. Very happy.
Clear and concise course.
The course is excellent, even for beginners like myself who have never used this engine before. Oliver thoroughly explains the tools and his process for creating renders. It also includes an explanation of how to use AI as an enhancer, a highly effective tool for adding more realism to images. Additionally, the course covers post-production techniques for both images and videos, which I found extremely useful.

Great quality work.
The Vegetation Pack is really good! The variety of plants, bushes, and trees is amazing, and the multiple styles give me so much flexibility for different types of projects. I liked that they even included a colored version which is ideal for collages, they add so much personality! I decided to go with the premium version and felt that it was well worth it, especially with the brush set for Photoshop. This pack has saved me hours of work!
I really enjoyed this course, it's exactly what I needed. Very easy to understand, well-structured, and not very long. Also, with some textures and cutouts that I would definitely use in the future.

Great course, with a lot of details on how to use InDesign specifically for portfolios. Usually, online courses talk a lot about stuff you never use and don't even need to know. There are a lot of tips on how to build a portfolio and what to focus on as well.

Hi Oliver, thank you for the course it was incredibly insightful and gave me a fresh perspective on portfolio design! I do have one suggestion that could make it even more helpful: adding a session on how to prepare materials before starting the portfolio. While others might already have their work ready, as a student who’s new to this, it would be really valuable to learn how to refine technical drawings, renders, or visuals to align with the portfolio’s theme similar to how you explained adjusting an image’s color to fit a concept. It would also be great to get tips on selecting what to include, especially since you mentioned not putting every drawing, render, or representation into the portfolio. Guidance on deciding if new visuals are needed or adapting technical drawings and presentation boards into a cohesive portfolio would also be incredibly helpful. I think a session like this could provide practical insights, especially for those starting from scratch. Thanks again for such an inspiring and valuable course!
I learned tips for rendering in vray and how to organize layers, add backgrounds, vegetation, textures, cutouts, light and so much more in Photoshop to make amazing compositions for our architecture projects.

A wonderful course. Everything is clear and understandable. All the necessary techniques for creating plans and adjusting them are shown. In my opinion, you need minimal knowledge of Photoshop to complete this coursea.

If you were like me, a person who knew nothing about the importance/power of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, this course will teach you so much. The level of depth and experience of Oliver and the team at Upstairs, is absolutely amazing. Not only do they teach about how to manage computer software, but they also instruct about the profession of architecture, the reason we are even here, to begin with. The amount of work, patience, and drive is self-evident in their work, and I as a student, appreciate it so much. I've also looked around for similar content on the web, and nothing compares to the work at Upstairs.
I first heard about D5 through Upstairs, so I was anxiously awaiting this course. And I must say that it exceeded my expectations! The course guides you from key concepts—like applying materials with realism, and creating nice surroundings - but also, more experienced users will be pleased to find out about UV mapping and AI tools!!! Plus, not to mention the post-production module that provides that crucial touch that makes a significant difference in your final results. A big THANK YOU to the Upstairs team!
These courses are incredible to increase your representation level. It is only a matter of dedicating a little time, but the tools that you acquire are many.
Thank you for the course. In my opinion, it was well structured, almost all the points you tackled were explained thoroughly, and your pace was appropriate for absolute beginners (the video playback speed can be increased if people want a faster pace which is a nice feature). The course tackled the most famous types of diagrams and gave ample inspiration sources which is also a very good point.
It was really helpful! Major step up for future projects. Since I'm not so good at Photoshop, it was a bit difficult when you use shortcut keys without explaining what it does and how they work. But it will take time for me. Thanks!

I have been watching Oliver's tutorials since OU Graphics and it has always helped me, so for this reason I decided to try out the isometric masterclass and photoshop courses and without any doubt, it lived up to my expectations. It's packed with a lot of useful information and techniques. And I've been applying them to my drawing for a while now and I'm extremely happy with the workflow I've learnt from Upstairs.

What I appreciated about the course instructor was that he was generous enough to provide an additional module that delved into portfolios, besides the course being about the InDesign software. Moreover, it was very practical in terms of providing actual examples of selected portfolios online.
This is a very practical pack for making diagrams and collages in an easy and fast way. It's been great so far, it has saved me plenty of time and effort. I don't have to be looking for high resolution vegetation anymore.
