Honestly, the course is packed! Maybe even a little too long for me at first haha. But I get it, there's a lot to learn in D5 and Post-production Photoshop! I appreciate that I can take it bit by bit though, which very helpful for someone with a busy schedule. The structure is nice, it doesn’t throw everything at you all at once, so I can always come back and pick up where I left off. That makes it way less overwhelming in the end. I'm really glad I signed up for this course!
Very well-rounded course that was very easy to understand and follow along with. My only suggestion would be to potentially create tutorials with other free softwares, like TwinMotion or other software that students get free access to and can properly utilize, as shown in your tutorials. Still appreciate the content and look forward to learning in future courses!
I learned tips for rendering in vray and how to organize layers, add backgrounds, vegetation, textures, cutouts, light and so much more in Photoshop to make amazing compositions for our architecture projects.
I'm a graphic designer learning to work in the context of architecture. Although I'm well educated in the ways of Illustrator and Photoshop, it was valuable to learn the workflows and make working with buildings and isometric diagrams less intimidating. Thank you!

Even though I have worked with Indesign for quite some time before, I learned some new practical tips and tricks from this course. Knowing how to work with character styles was especially helpful for me. I also really enjoyed module 6 and the conceptual insights an portfolio reviews that Oliver provided there. This course is truly amazing. I have experienced many D5 courses, both online and physical, but none meet this quality. This course offers a deep understanding of D5 that even a beginner can catch up because of the clear and easy to understand explanation. Moreover, the post-production lessons are extremely helpful for those who have the basics of Photoshop but do not know where to start with architectural renderings.

It was a very well-structured course, especially for beginners. Speaking to myself, I'm an architecture student and I didn't have any experience with Photoshop and Illustrator. Also, I have always wanted to create diagrams, but I didn't know where to start. So, finding this course was a gift. If you want to learn the basics of these two programs and also diagrams, then this course is perfect. It's like killing two birds with one stone.

So, I’ve been using Blender for about 6 years now, and when I heard D5 Render works with it, I thought, “Why not give it a go?” The render engine, the colors, the whole ease-of-use thing they advertise... it all looked pretty sweet. But I knew I’d need to get up to speed, so I went looking for a solid course. That’s when I stumbled across "Learn Upstairs." Not gonna lie, it wasn’t cheap, but honestly? Worth every cent. Oliver explains everything so clearly that it just clicks. By the end of it, I felt like I could dive into D5 Render without a hitch. Massive thanks to Oliver. Brilliant course, mate! It’s been a pleasure!

The modules were well organized and easy to follow. The modules' videos weren't long and boring at all. I was excited to learn every stage. Not a detailed course like the isometric course he has, but it teaches you how to learn from other portfolios and make wise design decisions. This course is more about portfolio making than learning to use InDesign, so for the most part, InDesign felt irrelevant.
What I appreciated about the course instructor was that he was generous enough to provide an additional module that delved into portfolios, besides the course being about the InDesign software. Moreover, it was very practical in terms of providing actual examples of selected portfolios online.

In addition, there are no plugs for buying the assets but those too are excellent and well worth the modest cost. I would definitely encourage a link to the store in the various lessons as those assets are amazing and add to the sophistication of the final projects. I have followed many InDesign courses but this one is the most complete on the market. The information provided and the method of communication is clear and direct. The examples shown are of great help in understanding how to approach the design of an architectural portfolio. The presence of subtitles in different languages is very useful to fully understand each concept. This course should be compulsory in every architecture school to have a clear idea of how to effectively show each project.

A wonderful course. Everything is clear and understandable. All the necessary techniques for creating plans and adjusting them are shown. In my opinion, you need minimal knowledge of Photoshop to complete this coursea.

I've already been able to apply some tips in practice, which has helped take my renders to a higher level. Fully applying all the knowledge takes time, so it's essential to work on a variety of projects to continuously improve your workflow.
A brilliant course worth its price. Teaching was effective and you learn a lot especially if you are a beginner. The course pace isn't too fast, meaning beginners won't fall behind. By the end, you will be able to use the techniques in this case study in your own designs.
