It was a very well-structured course, especially for beginners. Speaking to myself, I'm an architecture student and I didn't have any experience with Photoshop and Illustrator. Also, I have always wanted to create diagrams, but I didn't know where to start. So, finding this course was a gift. If you want to learn the basics of these two programs and also diagrams, then this course is perfect. It's like killing two birds with one stone.
The course was easy to follow. It might be intimidating at first because of the number of steps to achieve an improved effect on an object but it is worth it once you see the end product.

I like how the majority of the videos in each module are broken down into consumable information and prepare you for creating your portfolio. I also appreciate the examples of others' work in portfolios and on different styles to explore. I would like to emphasize starting your portfolio after watching a couple of videos in the module, since that is what I did every time I completed one of them. As a beginner on starting my architecture portfolio, I understood more than when I first began the course and especially from my four years in university, so it's well worth it!

There's always something new around the corner. You wouldn't know if you don't try and explore how different people work or navigate. I think Oliver has made some crazy effort to condense as much as he could in these courses without overburdening the students going through it.

This course was exactly what I was looking for to begin learning Photoshop! I am currently an architecture student and was not too good at Photoshop. Still, I feel a lot more confident in my ability to create renderings using Photoshop for class projects and my work-study!

So, I’ve been using Blender for about 6 years now, and when I heard D5 Render works with it, I thought, “Why not give it a go?” The render engine, the colors, the whole ease-of-use thing they advertise... it all looked pretty sweet. But I knew I’d need to get up to speed, so I went looking for a solid course. That’s when I stumbled across "Learn Upstairs." Not gonna lie, it wasn’t cheap, but honestly? Worth every cent. Oliver explains everything so clearly that it just clicks. By the end of it, I felt like I could dive into D5 Render without a hitch. Massive thanks to Oliver. Brilliant course, mate! The course is excellent, even for beginners like myself who have never used this engine before. Oliver thoroughly explains the tools and his process for creating renders. It also includes an explanation of how to use AI as an enhancer, a highly effective tool for adding more realism to images. Additionally, the course covers post-production techniques for both images and videos, which I found extremely useful.
Been using it primarily for AutoCAD and very happy with the friendly look it adds to my plans.

As for myself, I really enjoyed the course. It was very well structured and understandable! I recommend doing at least one lesson each day... because of the sheer volume of information, you might forget something that was already mentioned, if you do not keep some consistency. Otherwise, it was great. I definitely recommend going through it!

It helped me with what I was looking for. The course is very fast, yet focused on the important thing you need to know about Photoshop for Architects, even if you are a beginner. It was good to see the workflow, organization, and specific tips for architecture. I would love to see a course like this for interiors as well, because I think some people would make good use of it.

The course guides you from key concepts—like applying materials with realism, and creating nice surroundings - but also, more experienced users will be pleased to find out about UV mapping and AI tools!!! Once bought, it is very useful! Your constant Google searches for items in plan view don't have to happen anymore. Everything you could want is in an organized file, ready to be edited, copied, and pasted into your work. The vegetation inside of this pack is also beautiful and minimal, but extremely effective.

The Vegetation Pack is really good! The variety of plants, bushes, and trees is amazing, and the multiple styles give me so much flexibility for different types of projects. I liked that they even included a colored version which is ideal for collages, they add so much personality! I decided to go with the premium version and felt that it was well worth it, especially with the brush set for Photoshop. This pack has saved me hours of work!

This course is truly amazing. I have experienced many D5 courses, both online and physical, but none meet this quality. This course offers a deep understanding of D5 that even a beginner can catch up because of the clear and easy to understand explanation. Moreover, the post-production lessons are extremely helpful for those who have the basics of Photoshop but do not know where to start with architectural renderings.

The modules were well organized and easy to follow. The modules' videos weren't long and boring at all. I was excited to learn every stage. The portfolio examples shown were the cherry on top, providing us with a good balance between technical aspects of InDesign and what to expect when designing an architectural portfolio. I enjoyed it so much, such great content. It's worth the investment!
I'm just finishing this course up now and honestly it's completely worth the money. It's so comprehensive and the attention to detail is fantastic. I tried another D5 course that was $40 or something and it was so bad that I didn't even finish it. This course is the real deal.
I loved this D5 Render course so much! I wasn’t expecting it to be so packed with information. It has everything you need to know about D5 Render. At first, I was pretty concerned about whether I would be able to learn the software properly. However, after just watching a few videos, I felt pretty confident. Now that I’ve finished the course, I can say I can create really good renders, especially interior renders. I didn’t know D5 would be this easy! Oliver explains everything in detail, and if you don’t understand something, you can simply ask him in the comments below. The post-production section adds the final touch to the render! This course was exactly what I was looking for. It’s not just about learning the software, it’s way more than that. Lessons that really makes you think differently and express yourself better as an architect. Most courses just show you how to use the tools, but this one actually teaches you how to use them in a way that makes sense. You don’t really find that anywhere else. I finally feel like I can show my ideas the way I always wanted to.

This course is all you need to learn architectural visualization. Knowing Oliver through his YouTube channel for a long time, going into this course my expectations were high, but this course exceeded way beyond all of my expectations. This course teaches you how D5 combined with Photoshop could be a powerful way of expressing your ideas and stories to the world. Oliver's teaching skills and with the interactive comments and detailed feedback from him for all my queries were helpful in learning the subtle ways to make my renders realistic.
I was really skeptical because I've tried like a million Notion templates and always gave up after a week because they were too complicated. This one is different because it's made for architecture. It's simple enough that I actually kept using it, and the course made setup so easy, I was done in one afternoon. I use it every single day now for studio, my deadlines, all my class notes, even stuff outside of school but that is related to my course. The fact that everything connects is what got me.
