Overall, the course provides a great introduction to creating and developing isometric diagrams that can be used in a multitude of different situations or scenarios. By being clearly labeled and organized, Oliver has made it very easy to move from step to step without getting confused, and he reiterates many key points throughout the course so that by the time you finish, there are already some key concepts that are ingrained in your brain. All in all, if you are looking for an informative course on architectural diagrams that is both informative and entertaining, this course would be perfect for you since the course is so detailed while remaining light with technical jargon that allows people from all skill levels to learn something.

Once bought, it is very useful! Your constant Google searches for items in plan view don't have to happen anymore. Everything you could want is in an organized file, ready to be edited, copied, and pasted into your work. The vegetation inside of this pack is also beautiful and minimal, but extremely effective.
I'm a graphic designer learning to work in the context of architecture. Although I'm well educated in the ways of Illustrator and Photoshop, it was valuable to learn the workflows and make working with buildings and isometric diagrams less intimidating. Thank you!

I really liked this course, he teaches you many tricks to create a good portfolio, but what I liked the most was the fact that he explains everything with examples of real portfolios. Another plus point was that English is not my first language, and yet I had no problem understanding everything and helping myself with subtitles. I also had a small problem that I couldn't open a file and he solved everything very quickly. Totally recommended!

A wonderful course. Everything is clear and understandable. All the necessary techniques for creating plans and adjusting them are shown. In my opinion, you need minimal knowledge of Photoshop to complete this coursea.
Very well-rounded course that was very easy to understand and follow along with. My only suggestion would be to potentially create tutorials with other free softwares, like TwinMotion or other software that students get free access to and can properly utilize, as shown in your tutorials. Still appreciate the content and look forward to learning in future courses!

You are never quite sure what to expect with these courses, as the quality varies wildly. I could not be happier with this one. Oliver does such a great job clearly explaining the tools and techniques so they are easy to understand. If for some reason, you don't understand, he is quick to respond to all comments. I like how the majority of the videos in each module are broken down into consumable information and prepare you for creating your portfolio. I also appreciate the examples of others' work in portfolios and on different styles to explore. I would like to emphasize starting your portfolio after watching a couple of videos in the module, since that is what I did every time I completed one of them. As a beginner on starting my architecture portfolio, I understood more than when I first began the course and especially from my four years in university, so it's well worth it!
Thank you for the course. In my opinion, it was well structured, almost all the points you tackled were explained thoroughly, and your pace was appropriate for absolute beginners (the video playback speed can be increased if people want a faster pace which is a nice feature). The course tackled the most famous types of diagrams and gave ample inspiration sources which is also a very good point.

I have been watching Oliver's tutorials since OU Graphics and it has always helped me, so for this reason I decided to try out the isometric masterclass and photoshop courses and without any doubt, it lived up to my expectations. It's packed with a lot of useful information and techniques. And I've been applying them to my drawing for a while now and I'm extremely happy with the workflow I've learnt from Upstairs.
Honestly, the course is packed! Maybe even a little too long for me at first haha. But I get it, there's a lot to learn in D5 and Post-production Photoshop! I appreciate that I can take it bit by bit though, which very helpful for someone with a busy schedule. The structure is nice, it doesn’t throw everything at you all at once, so I can always come back and pick up where I left off. That makes it way less overwhelming in the end. I'm really glad I signed up for this course!
A well refined course that lets you master D5 in a short period of time.
I bought the course knowing the bare minimum about Photoshop and Illustrator. Seeing a good workflow made the learning process much easier, not only from the software but from the concepts. I had already been following YouTube, and this course was pretty useful for deepening my knowledge. I like how it's taught with great synthesis power and incredible visual organization.
I first heard about D5 through Upstairs, so I was anxiously awaiting this course. And I must say that it exceeded my expectations! The course guides you from key concepts—like applying materials with realism, and creating nice surroundings - but also, more experienced users will be pleased to find out about UV mapping and AI tools!!! Plus, not to mention the post-production module that provides that crucial touch that makes a significant difference in your final results. A big THANK YOU to the Upstairs team!

Even though I have worked with Indesign for quite some time before, I learned some new practical tips and tricks from this course. Knowing how to work with character styles was especially helpful for me. I also really enjoyed module 6 and the conceptual insights an portfolio reviews that Oliver provided there. The way that Oliver is explaining everything is super easy to understand and fun to watch. Thank you very much for this course, Oliver. The course is excellent, even for beginners like myself who have never used this engine before. Oliver thoroughly explains the tools and his process for creating renders. It also includes an explanation of how to use AI as an enhancer, a highly effective tool for adding more realism to images. Additionally, the course covers post-production techniques for both images and videos, which I found extremely useful.
The course covers the basics of InDesign in a way that is easy to understand. I also found it very helpful to see other examples of portfolios and see how the tips given during the lessons could be applied to my own portfolio. Overall, great course!
