So, I’ve been using Blender for about 6 years now, and when I heard D5 Render works with it, I thought, “Why not give it a go?” The render engine, the colors, the whole ease-of-use thing they advertise... it all looked pretty sweet. But I knew I’d need to get up to speed, so I went looking for a solid course. That’s when I stumbled across "Learn Upstairs." Not gonna lie, it wasn’t cheap, but honestly? Worth every cent. Oliver explains everything so clearly that it just clicks. By the end of it, I felt like I could dive into D5 Render without a hitch. Massive thanks to Oliver. Brilliant course, mate! It’s been a pleasure!

I LOVED IT!!! Straight from Nigeria. I learnt a lot and it was well paced. I know in total it says it's 2 hours. it took me 5 days to complete due to work and a spice of laziness but nonetheless, eventually I was victorious. Off to practice what I have learnt but if you are looking for a sign on whether to take this course or not, I HOPE THIS ALL CAPS WRITING IS A SIGN BOLD ENOUGH FOR YOU!!!

This course delivers what it promises. We all need workflows and Oliver has given us a flexible workflow that can be adapted to any project. Because the render can come from any source, the post-processing is adaptable to any BIM authoring and rendering software.

Overall, the course provides a great introduction to creating and developing isometric diagrams that can be used in a multitude of different situations or scenarios. By being clearly labeled and organized, Oliver has made it very easy to move from step to step without getting confused, and he reiterates many key points throughout the course so that by the time you finish, there are already some key concepts that are ingrained in your brain. All in all, if you are looking for an informative course on architectural diagrams that is both informative and entertaining, this course would be perfect for you since the course is so detailed while remaining light with technical jargon that allows people from all skill levels to learn something.

As a student, I have to say that the course is a bit too expensive. I didn't mean the content is not worthy, cause it sure does. However, I think if the price could be lower or there were some discounts from time to time, it would be great. Appreciate the work.

Oliver did an amazing job walking us through his process with creating diagrams. He was clear and reinforced important details throughout the course, making sure to help build good habits. His emphasis on "big moves" really helped to think about the diagram creation process as a bite sized problem. I would recommend people invest in this course because if you are a student learning how to represent your ideas, the skills available in this course will help you.

Very in-depth course that will improve all of your plans. Teaches the basics like patterns, shadows, fills & Ai + Ps skills, all the way through to tiny details. All of which help your plans emphisise the architecture in a clear, readable way.

It's an excellent course, it gives you the tools to make very good diagrams, and also the workflow and ethic allow you to make further diagrams in the future as you like, not just the ones that are in the course.

The course was easy to follow. It might be intimidating at first because of the number of steps to achieve an improved effect on an object but it is worth it once you see the end product.

The modules were well organized and easy to follow. The modules' videos weren't long and boring at all. I was excited to learn every stage. This course was exactly what I was looking for to begin learning Photoshop! I am currently an architecture student and was not too good at Photoshop. Still, I feel a lot more confident in my ability to create renderings using Photoshop for class projects and my work-study!
Good tips and in general gives a critical view of portfolios. It is overpriced, though, especially as it is aimed at students.

As for myself, I really enjoyed the course. It was very well structured and understandable! I recommend doing at least one lesson each day... because of the sheer volume of information, you might forget something that was already mentioned, if you do not keep some consistency. Otherwise, it was great. I definitely recommend going through it!

Easy to use & adds life to illustration.
Good for beginners, with a lot of cool tips, but for someone who already has some knowledge of Photoshop, it may not be enough.
The course is extensive and easy to follow, and it’s great that you can participate at your own pace and on your own schedule. I've already been able to apply some tips in practice, which has helped take my renders to a higher level. Fully applying all the knowledge takes time, so it's essential to work on a variety of projects to continuously improve your workflow.
I appreciate Oliver´s effort to give us an overall approach to designing clear and neat architecture portfolios. He´s very professional and humble. I strongly recommend his course to other students and professional architects.
