Great course, with a lot of details on how to use InDesign specifically for portfolios. Usually, online courses talk a lot about stuff you never use and don't even need to know. There are a lot of tips on how to build a portfolio and what to focus on as well.

It was a very well-structured course, especially for beginners. Speaking to myself, I'm an architecture student and I didn't have any experience with Photoshop and Illustrator. Also, I have always wanted to create diagrams, but I didn't know where to start. So, finding this course was a gift. If you want to learn the basics of these two programs and also diagrams, then this course is perfect. It's like killing two birds with one stone.
If you were like me, a person who knew nothing about the importance/power of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, this course will teach you so much. The level of depth and experience of Oliver and the team at Upstairs, is absolutely amazing. Not only do they teach about how to manage computer software, but they also instruct about the profession of architecture, the reason we are even here, to begin with. The amount of work, patience, and drive is self-evident in their work, and I as a student, appreciate it so much. I've also looked around for similar content on the web, and nothing compares to the work at Upstairs.

The course is extensive and easy to follow, and it’s great that you can participate at your own pace and on your own schedule. I've already been able to apply some tips in practice, which has helped take my renders to a higher level. Fully applying all the knowledge takes time, so it's essential to work on a variety of projects to continuously improve your workflow.
As a student, I have to say that the course is a bit too expensive. I didn't mean the content is not worthy, cause it sure does. However, I think if the price could be lower or there were some discounts from time to time, it would be great. Appreciate the work.

Even though I have worked with Indesign for quite some time before, I learned some new practical tips and tricks from this course. I loved this D5 Render course so much! I wasn’t expecting it to be so packed with information. It has everything you need to know about D5 Render. At first, I was pretty concerned about whether I would be able to learn the software properly. However, after just watching a few videos, I felt pretty confident. Now that I’ve finished the course, I can say I can create really good renders, especially interior renders. I didn’t know D5 would be this easy! Oliver explains everything in detail, and if you don’t understand something, you can simply ask him in the comments below. The post-production section adds the final touch to the render! The course is excellent, even for beginners like myself who have never used this engine before. Oliver thoroughly explains the tools and his process for creating renders. It also includes an explanation of how to use AI as an enhancer, a highly effective tool for adding more realism to images. Additionally, the course covers post-production techniques for both images and videos, which I found extremely useful.

Well-structured post-production course.
It helped me with what I was looking for. The course is very fast, yet focused on the important thing you need to know about Photoshop for Architects, even if you are a beginner. It was good to see the workflow, organization, and specific tips for architecture. I would love to see a course like this for interiors as well, because I think some people would make good use of it.
I’m so glad I took this course! Before this, I was just trying to figure things out on my own with D5. Now I have way more control over the whole process, really learned a visualization workflow, and my renderings look much more professional. Plus, even though I had some Photoshop knowledge, the tips on post-production were game-changers for me. Oliver made everything easy to follow. Really recommend it!

The course was easy to follow. It might be intimidating at first because of the number of steps to achieve an improved effect on an object but it is worth it once you see the end product.
Once bought, it is very useful! Your constant Google searches for items in plan view don't have to happen anymore. Everything you could want is in an organized file, ready to be edited, copied, and pasted into your work. The vegetation inside of this pack is also beautiful and minimal, but extremely effective.
Overall, the course provides a great introduction to creating and developing isometric diagrams that can be used in a multitude of different situations or scenarios. By being clearly labeled and organized, Oliver has made it very easy to move from step to step without getting confused, and he reiterates many key points throughout the course so that by the time you finish, there are already some key concepts that are ingrained in your brain. All in all, if you are looking for an informative course on architectural diagrams that is both informative and entertaining, this course would be perfect for you since the course is so detailed while remaining light with technical jargon that allows people from all skill levels to learn something.

My only suggestion would be to potentially create tutorials with other free softwares, like TwinMotion or other software that students get free access to and can properly utilize, as shown in your tutorials. Still appreciate the content and look forward to learning in future courses!

It was a nicely structured course to teach you a lot of things about post-production in Photoshop. Maybe some more experienced artists will find it easy, but it was a great course for users new to the Photoshop side of things, well explained all the way.

I have followed many InDesign courses but this one is the most complete on the market. The information provided and the method of communication is clear and direct. The examples shown are of great help in understanding how to approach the design of an architectural portfolio. The presence of subtitles in different languages is very useful to fully understand each concept. This course should be compulsory in every architecture school to have a clear idea of how to effectively show each project.

I loved the course, and the Upstairs channel as a whole. It gives me the inspiration to work more with architecture illustration, which I've been falling in love with ever since studying it more. The workflow is not hard, but it might be easier to understand if you already have a basic knowledge of architectural plans as a whole.

This course delivers what it promises. We all need workflows and Oliver has given us a flexible workflow that can be adapted to any project. Because the render can come from any source, the post-processing is adaptable to any BIM authoring and rendering software.

I like how the majority of the videos in each module are broken down into consumable information and prepare you for creating your portfolio. I also appreciate the examples of others' work in portfolios and on different styles to explore. I would like to emphasize starting your portfolio after watching a couple of videos in the module, since that is what I did every time I completed one of them. As a beginner on starting my architecture portfolio, I understood more than when I first began the course and especially from my four years in university, so it's well worth it!

I have been watching Oliver's tutorials since OU Graphics and it has always helped me, so for this reason I decided to try out the isometric masterclass and photoshop courses and without any doubt, it lived up to my expectations. The Urban Drawing Bundle is incredible for any type of Isometric drawing, it's all you need in terms of assets to populate a scene without loosing too much time. I prefer to use it directly from Illustrator so I have more control over the asset's final look. Highly recommend it!

I bought the course knowing the bare minimum about Photoshop and Illustrator. Seeing a good workflow made the learning process much easier, not only from the software but from the concepts. I had already been following YouTube, and this course was pretty useful for deepening my knowledge. I like how it's taught with great synthesis power and incredible visual organization.
