As a student, I have to say that the course is a bit too expensive. I didn't mean the content is not worthy, cause it sure does. However, I think if the price could be lower or there were some discounts from time to time, it would be great. Appreciate the work.

Even though I have worked with Indesign for quite some time before, I learned some new practical tips and tricks from this course. Knowing how to work with character styles was especially helpful for me. I also really enjoyed module 6 and the conceptual insights an portfolio reviews that Oliver provided there. This course is a very good starting point for anyone who is not familiar with InDesign. As someone who has used that software a limited amount of times, I feel that this course definitely sets up a great foundation before starting any layouts. I finished watching this course with a good sense of confidence and a clear direction to start exploring ideas of how I want to make my own portfolio. Thank you, Oliver!

You are never quite sure what to expect with these courses, as the quality varies wildly. I could not be happier with this one. Oliver does such a great job clearly explaining the tools and techniques so they are easy to understand. If for some reason, you don't understand, he is quick to respond to all comments. He has set the bar high for online courses and is clearly extremely talented and knowledgeable. I was able to drastically improve my rendering skills and had zero experience with D5. The course was great and really helpful, really appreciated the shortcuts that appear on the screen instead of just the audio as you can sometimes mishear things. Happy to have found that course when I'm still at the beginning of my visualization journey.
The course was easy to follow. It might be intimidating at first because of the number of steps to achieve an improved effect on an object but it is worth it once you see the end product.

Really useful course for all levels. I used D5 Render for 1 year in Architecture School before enrolling in this course, which meant I had a pretty good understanding of the software. But this course helped me integrate all the knowledge I had and structure it into a correct and efficient workflow. I finished the course before entering a local firm, and it helped me a lot since I was the only person in charge of 3D images. The short and concise lessons are really useful for students and professionals who use their spare time to learn. Would (and effectively did) recommend it to peers.
A really great course if you want to manually render your site (without using pre-built features like Lumion).
It's an interesting and useful course for learning Photoshop and how to use it for architectural visualization.

What I appreciated about the course instructor was that he was generous enough to provide an additional module that delved into portfolios, besides the course being about the InDesign software. Moreover, it was very practical in terms of providing actual examples of selected portfolios online.

I loved this D5 Render course so much! I wasn’t expecting it to be so packed with information. It has everything you need to know about D5 Render. At first, I was pretty concerned about whether I would be able to learn the software properly. However, after just watching a few videos, I felt pretty confident. Now that I’ve finished the course, I can say I can create really good renders, especially interior renders. I didn’t know D5 would be this easy! Oliver explains everything in detail, and if you don’t understand something, you can simply ask him in the comments below. The post-production section adds the final touch to the render! If you were like me, a person who knew nothing about the importance/power of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, this course will teach you so much. Oliver did an amazing job walking us through his process with creating diagrams. He was clear and reinforced important details throughout the course, making sure to help build good habits. His emphasis on "big moves" really helped to think about the diagram creation process as a bite sized problem. The Urban Drawing Bundle is incredible for any type of Isometric drawing, it's all you need in terms of assets to populate a scene without loosing too much time. I prefer to use it directly from Illustrator so I have more control over the asset's final look. Highly recommend it!

This course is great to get started on making your portfolio. The course doesn't teach you every single movement step by step , but you will learn some principles that will make you do it perfectly!

Once bought, it is very useful! Your constant Google searches for items in plan view don't have to happen anymore. Everything you could want is in an organized file, ready to be edited, copied, and pasted into your work. The vegetation inside of this pack is also beautiful and minimal, but extremely effective.
Wonderful beginner tips and tricks to start developing a personal style in archviz. While technology has advanced and 3D assets have gotten better, everything in this lesson is a true base to work from. If you're a beginner in Photoshop or V-Ray, this is a phenomenal first step.

Lessons that really makes you think differently and express yourself better as an architect. Most courses just show you how to use the tools, but this one actually teaches you how to use them in a way that makes sense. You don’t really find that anywhere else. I finally feel like I can show my ideas the way I always wanted to.

I have followed many InDesign courses but this one is the most complete on the market. The information provided and the method of communication is clear and direct. The examples shown are of great help in understanding how to approach the design of an architectural portfolio. The presence of subtitles in different languages is very useful to fully understand each concept. This course should be compulsory in every architecture school to have a clear idea of how to effectively show each project.
Honestly, the course is packed! Maybe even a little too long for me at first haha. But I get it, there's a lot to learn in D5 and Post-production Photoshop! I appreciate that I can take it bit by bit though, which very helpful for someone with a busy schedule. The structure is nice, it doesn’t throw everything at you all at once, so I can always come back and pick up where I left off. That makes it way less overwhelming in the end. I'm really glad I signed up for this course!

In my opinion, it was well structured, almost all the points you tackled were explained thoroughly, and your pace was appropriate for absolute beginners (the video playback speed can be increased if people want a faster pace which is a nice feature). The course tackled the most famous types of diagrams and gave ample inspiration sources which is also a very good point.
