As a student, I have to say that the course is a bit too expensive. I didn't mean the content is not worthy, cause it sure does. However, I think if the price could be lower or there were some discounts from time to time, it would be great. Appreciate the work.

I specifically enjoyed how for this tutorial Oliver stuck to the ins and outs of InDesign and how to use it properly. I think this strategy works well mainly because each person has a different story to tell through their portfolio. Therefore, the tutorial only helps you know how to navigate InDesign and it doesn't really hinder your perception of how to do your portfolio. Also, I think the examples help inspire the audience, especially as we can see Oliver annotate and discuss the mistakes and great points of each portfolio. The extra material is great and I feel that the extra lessons with him are super useful.
A great course where even experienced software users can learn something. The course is well structured and easy to follow, very worth it for the price!

I recommend doing at least one lesson each day... because of the sheer volume of information, you might forget something that was already mentioned, if you do not keep some consistency. I’m so glad I took this course! Before this, I was just trying to figure things out on my own with D5. Now I have way more control over the whole process, really learned a visualization workflow, and my renderings look much more professional. Plus, even though I had some Photoshop knowledge, the tips on post-production were game-changers for me. Oliver made everything easy to follow. Really recommend it!

This course was exactly what I was looking for. It’s not just about learning the software, it’s way more than that. Lessons that really makes you think differently and express yourself better as an architect. Most courses just show you how to use the tools, but this one actually teaches you how to use them in a way that makes sense. You don’t really find that anywhere else. I would really like to thank the tutor and his entire team for creating this course. I have always struggled with creating interesting looking architectural plans in the past, but never could understand where to begin from. With this course, I did indeed learn a lot of new techniques regarding smart moves through different software, a non-destructive workflow and most importantly 'Architectural Presentation Style'. Lessons that were made for architects! Just a few & simple edits to a CAD plan can really improve your drawing. I think that subtlety is the key here. Thank you again. Cheers!

Overall, the course provides a great introduction to creating and developing isometric diagrams that can be used in a multitude of different situations or scenarios. By being clearly labeled and organized, Oliver has made it very easy to move from step to step without getting confused, and he reiterates many key points throughout the course so that by the time you finish, there are already some key concepts that are ingrained in your brain. All in all, if you are looking for an informative course on architectural diagrams that is both informative and entertaining, this course would be perfect for you since the course is so detailed while remaining light with technical jargon that allows people from all skill levels to learn something.

This is a very practical pack for making diagrams and collages in an easy and fast way. It's been great so far, it has saved me plenty of time and effort. I don't have to be looking for high resolution vegetation anymore.

I loved the course, and the Upstairs channel as a whole. It gives me the inspiration to work more with architecture illustration, which I've been falling in love with ever since studying it more. The workflow is not hard, but it might be easier to understand if you already have a basic knowledge of architectural plans as a whole.
I found the course very concise and to the point! It sort of demystified Photoshop for me, and I feel better about tackling a new image!

The Urban Drawing Bundle is incredible for any type of Isometric drawing, it's all you need in terms of assets to populate a scene without loosing too much time. I prefer to use it directly from Illustrator so I have more control over the asset's final look. Highly recommend it!

Very in-depth course that will improve all of your plans. Teaches the basics like patterns, shadows, fills & Ai + Ps skills, all the way through to tiny details. All of which help your plans emphisise the architecture in a clear, readable way.

There's always something new around the corner. You wouldn't know if you don't try and explore how different people work or navigate. I think Oliver has made some crazy effort to condense as much as he could in these courses without overburdening the students going through it.

I first heard about D5 through Upstairs, so I was anxiously awaiting this course. And I must say that it exceeded my expectations! The course guides you from key concepts—like applying materials with realism, and creating nice surroundings - but also, more experienced users will be pleased to find out about UV mapping and AI tools!!! Plus, not to mention the post-production module that provides that crucial touch that makes a significant difference in your final results. A big THANK YOU to the Upstairs team!

The post-production course taught me so many skills and tricks in Photoshop and has allowed me to develop an efficient workflow when it comes to post-production. The course also comes with additional resources that you can use for your own projects. If you're an architecture student, I can't recommend this course enough!
I really liked this course, he teaches you many tricks to create a good portfolio, but what I liked the most was the fact that he explains everything with examples of real portfolios. Another plus point was that English is not my first language, and yet I had no problem understanding everything and helping myself with subtitles. I also had a small problem that I couldn't open a file and he solved everything very quickly. Totally recommended!

Wonderful beginner tips and tricks to start developing a personal style in archviz. While technology has advanced and 3D assets have gotten better, everything in this lesson is a true base to work from. If you're a beginner in Photoshop or V-Ray, this is a phenomenal first step.

The Vegetation Pack is really good! The variety of plants, bushes, and trees is amazing, and the multiple styles give me so much flexibility for different types of projects. I liked that they even included a colored version which is ideal for collages, they add so much personality! I decided to go with the premium version and felt that it was well worth it, especially with the brush set for Photoshop. This pack has saved me hours of work!

Once bought, it is very useful! Your constant Google searches for items in plan view don't have to happen anymore. Everything you could want is in an organized file, ready to be edited, copied, and pasted into your work. The vegetation inside of this pack is also beautiful and minimal, but extremely effective.
Great course, with a lot of details on how to use InDesign specifically for portfolios. Usually, online courses talk a lot about stuff you never use and don't even need to know. There are a lot of tips on how to build a portfolio and what to focus on as well.
